The programme A Punt Directe on À Punt Televisió, presented by Carolina Ferre, has reflected our work carried out on the Masía El Altet Estate and gratified us with an extensive report which lasted 17 minutes. Both of us, Jorge Petit, father and son, went to the studios in Paterna.
The report began with an interview on our Estate. Afterwards, we went to Valencia to answer Carolina’s questions.
We told all the secrets about producing our extra virgin olive oils. We also told some anecdotes about our life and talked of our passion for and the effort which we make to take care of our olive trees.
The origins of the famous Masía El Altet olive oil, its first harvest, its constant innovation and the role which the chef Joel Robuchon played in it and the more than six hundred awards received up to the present time were some of the topics which we talked about during it.
Thanks to Carolina Ferre’s questions, we were able to make special mention of the characteristics surrounding our estate and which are part of the success of our extra virgin olive oils. Being at an altitude of 850m, 30Km as the crow flies from the Mediterranean and being blessed with excellent quality water. And also obviously, the knowledge and experience that we’ve acquired during these years.
